Brandon De Hoyos is a professional journalist and freelance writer from Houston, Texas. In addition to serving as editor and columnist for About.com Instant Messaging (part of the New York Times Co.) since 2007, Brandon's work has also been seen in ArtsAmerica, Houston Community Newspapers, and Disney Adventures magazine, among others.
Brandon is also the editor of The Daily Ex, a faith-based resource for Christians battling with same-sex attraction.
When he is not busy at work, he enjoys his membership in the Lions Club of Galveston West Beach and services at Lakewood Church, in Houston.
Brandon is a journalism major at the University of Houston.
